Gite available for long term rental in the Haute Vienne area.
The gite is situated on the Limousin / North Dordogne / Charente border and the nearest large town is St Mathieu, which can offer all the amenities required on a day to day bases.
Kitchen / Dinning room. This room is accessed from the living room through a low door. This room has the original stone work exposed on three sides and again a large beam runs the length of the room. The kitchen is fully fitted, washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooked, micro wave, toaster, kettle, all cutlery, and crockery, pots and pans, sink etc. There is a table and chairs in the dinning room to seat six people and a breakfast bar with stools for less formal eating. There is a door leading to the rear garden and BBQ area, and the view from this side of the gite is fabulous. There is another set of stairs leading to the bathroom and bedroom number 3.
Shared bathroom.
The shared bathroom has a shower, vanity sink unit, storage area, WC, heated
towel rail and the water heater is in this room. This bathroom has two doors one
from bedroom 2 and one from the stairs leading from the kitchen /dinning room,
so you must remember to lock both doors or you may be caught out!!

(2 hours). The journey is approximately 7 hours drive from Calais. By train: You can travel from Kings Cross St Pancras to Limoges or Angouleme via Paris. From Paris to Limoges it is approximately three hours. We advise that you hire a car in Limoges or Angouleme.
